📋 Description

• Support the definition and execution of quality testing strategies for software development projects. • Plan, design, and execute manual and automated test cases and scenarios. • Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure the quality of deliverables. • Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in collaboration with development teams. • Participate in the early stages of projects by reviewing requirements and documentation to ensure quality from the beginning of development (Shift Left Testing). • Prepare and review test plans, test cases, and test result reports. • Analyze test results and present recommendations for improving system quality. • Partner with Development, Product, and Operations teams to ensure deliverables meet business requirements. • Support and mentor junior and mid-level professionals by sharing software quality best practices. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Quality Assurance (QA) processes, methodologies, and tools.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field. • Solid experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA). • Experience designing, executing, and managing manual and automated tests. • Experience with functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban). • Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects. • Experience preparing test plans, test cases, and test result reports. • Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools. • Analytical skills to identify risks, failures, and opportunities for process improvement. • Technical English preferred. • Spanish is a plus. • Knowledge of Shift Left Testing practices preferred. • Experience with test automation preferred. • Experience mentoring and developing QA professionals preferred. • Experience working on software development projects in Agile environments preferred. • Certifications related to Software Quality, Testing, or Agile Processes preferred.
