📋 Description

• Take overall responsibility for ongoing financial accounting in collaboration with the Head of Finance • Independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in DATEV • Manage and optimize upstream systems, including easybill and Finway, and ensure seamless DATEV interfaces • Continuously develop and standardize accounting processes, focusing on digitalization, efficiency, and meaningful reporting • Monitor accounts receivable and manage and optimize the dunning process • Work closely with the Head of Finance and serve as a contact for auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments • Prepare financial reports and analyze relevant KPIs for management and the executive team • Assume functional leadership of the Accounting team in the future • Develop Accounting into a scalable organization to support sustainable growth

🎯 Requirements

• Completed commercial training, e.g., as a tax clerk, or further qualification as a certified accountant (IHK) • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting • Ideally, experience in a digitally oriented mid-sized company or scale-up • Very good knowledge of DATEV • Experience with upstream systems such as easybill, Finway, or comparable tools • Knowledge of the principles of proper accounting (GoB) • Proficient in independently preparing monthly and annual financial statements • Confident user of MS Excel • Willingness to drive and enthusiasm for process optimization and digitalization • Structured, independent, and precise working style • High degree of reliability • Clear communication skills and ability to work in a team • Willingness to assume functional responsibility in the future
