📋 Description

• Own the accounting preparation and monthly closing processes • Gradually bring the currently outsourced accounting function in-house • Play a key role in the NetSuite implementation, including process design, data migration, and system logic • Report to management and the parent company, SAMY Group • Provide expert support and help develop the Accounting team • Build processes and structures for insourcing and NetSuite • Help shape the automation and reporting layer

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of in-depth accounting experience, with a hands-on approach to day-to-day operations as well as building and enhancing robust processes • Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), with the ability to prepare complete financial statements or provide closing-ready documentation for the tax advisor • Degree in business administration, economics, or a related field with a focus on accounting, or alternatively a completed Certified Accountant qualification combined with substantial relevant professional experience • Understanding of the income statement, balance sheet, and double-entry bookkeeping • Very strong IT skills • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets • Required experience with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite, both in process design and operational use • Ideally, working knowledge of SQL • Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and meet tight deadlines • Fluent in German and English • Confident, pragmatic, and efficient use of AI tools • Independent, structured, reliable, and results-oriented way of working in a remote setup • Ability to provide functional leadership without direct people-management responsibility • Nice to have: experience in an agency, scale-up, or medium-sized service provider
