Internas is a Polish wholesaler and retailer of gardening and outdoor-living products, offering a catalogue of about 15,000 items including seeds, bulbs, seedlings, shrubs and trees, soils, fertilizers, plant protection products, gardening tools, irrigation equipment, and seasonal goods. Operating for 25 years, Internas serves both retail customers through brick-and-mortar stores and online shops and business customers via wholesale distribution from its central warehouse and an additional market branch, offering professional buying support, its own delivery fleet, and fast logistics.

📋 Description

• Design and evolve microservice architectures with a focus on high availability, performance, and scalability. • Define technical standards and best practices for backend development, promoting alignment across teams. • Ensure the implementation of performance, security, and observability mechanisms in distributed systems. • Conduct code reviews, identify refactoring opportunities, and resolve complex technical issues. • Mentor team members, share knowledge, and support the technical growth of the team. • Maintain high-quality deliveries, collaborating with product and other teams to meet organizational objectives. • Diagnose and resolve critical incidents, coordinating remediation in production environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java, preferably Java 21, and frameworks such as Spring Boot. • Advanced experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, in large-scale systems. • Deep knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and event-driven APIs using Kafka. • Advanced use of Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform. • Established practice in CI/CD using GitHub Actions, version control with Git, and branching strategies. • Experience with application security (OAuth2), monitoring, and observability practices. • Familiarity with AWS, including ECS, RDS, ALB/NLB, and S3, and integration across cloud services. • Proven ability to propose innovative solutions and provide technical leadership on critical projects. • Experience with AI applied to backend development, intelligent automation of CI/CD pipelines, predictive observability, regulated environments, architectural guidelines, DevSecOps practices, and custom monitoring/alerting tools are desirable differentiators.
