📋 Description
• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites across API (REST Assured), web UI (Selenide), and mobile (Appium) layers • Perform manual testing where required, including mobile-specific scenarios such as responsiveness, permissions, OS/version coverage, and lifecycle testing • Analyze application logs to identify, localize, and help troubleshoot defects • Represent and enforce testing principles within the assigned development team and contribute to its quality assurance mindset • Contribute to accessibility (A11Y) testing efforts where applicable • Conduct performance/load testing using JMeter and provide optimization recommendations based on results
🎯 Requirements
• Manual testing experience • Ability to read API specifications/documentation, independently build test collections, and test services using common tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or SoapUI • Ability to read logs and independently identify or localize defects • Familiarity with mobile testing: responsiveness, permissions handling, screen size/OS version coverage, and application lifecycle testing • Confident object-oriented Java programming skills • Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch • Clean, reusable code • Familiarity with JUnit, TestNG, and Maven/Gradle • REST Assured experience for automated REST API testing • Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, and authentication • Ability to write and parameterize complex API test cases and integrate with JUnit/TestNG • Selenide experience for automated web UI testing • Knowledge of the Page Object Model • Ability to create stable, maintainable tests for dynamic interfaces and integrate with JUnit/TestNG • Appium experience with automated Android/iOS testing • Experience with emulators/simulators, native and hybrid app testing, and CI/CD integration • A11Y testing knowledge and WCAG Level A awareness are a plus • Practical use of TalkBack, VoiceOver, NVDA, or JAWS is a plus • JMeter performance/load-testing experience is a plus, including Thread Group, Sampler, Listener, and Assertion components, API/database/web load testing, results analysis, and optimization recommendations
