• Guide clients through every step of their personal injury cases, ensuring timely communication and arranging transportation for medical treatments when necessary • Open and manage client files in case management software, track progress, and gather all required documents, forms, and authorizations • Order medical records, obtain photos, and fulfill FOIA requests • Collaborate with law firm counterparts, insurance companies, and medical providers to facilitate communication and client support • Work with Client Case Manager Auditors to address identified deficiencies • Manage medical requests and treatment plans, prepare essential reports, and provide oversight on case billings, budgets, and timelines • Adhere to software policies, procedures, and meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare and legal processes within personal injury, including medical records and HIPAA practices • Minimum of two years of legal case management experience preferred • Prior insurance industry experience preferred • Exceptional follow-up, organizational, and document management skills • Experience ordering medical records, obtaining photos, and fulfilling FOIA requests • Fluent English at a C1 level or above (written and verbal) — bilingual a plus • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with teams • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software and strong typing skills • Empathy and professionalism when interacting with clients and attorneys • High School Diploma required; BS/BA in Business preferred; Paralegal certificate is a plus • Independent contractor must provide own equipment and handle self-employment taxes as per local laws
