• Provide expert clinical support, education, and training to physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on da Vinci cardiac surgery, devices, and therapies • Provide on-site case support in operating rooms or hybrid ORs for robotic cardiac procedures • Serve as clinical expert for product setup, troubleshooting, and optimal use during live cases • Ensure compliance with clinical and safety protocols • Collaborate with the Cardiovascular Sales Manager to cultivate a training pipeline of new surgeons and expand the user base • Support adoption of Multiport, Single Port, digital solutions, advanced instruments, and accessories • Partner with cross-functional teams to expand use of da Vinci Surgical Systems and strengthen healthcare-facility partnerships • Conduct physician and care-team training on robotic-platform indications and proper use • Administer individualized onsite training and help organize mentoring programs • Support new-site start-ups with onboarding programs and in-services • Provide ongoing education and product updates • Design and implement tailored da Vinci pathways to achieve proficient and autonomous system use • Support after-hours cases and weekends as needed • Execute clinical plans with sales, leadership, customer training, and business partners • Provide clinical insights to shape commercial strategy and drive business growth • Participate in physician education programs, workshops, and regional/national conferences • Facilitate adoption of digital solutions • Collaborate with ancillary equipment manufacturers on programmatic success • Collect and communicate customer feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D • Monitor clinical literature, competitive products, and evolving treatment guidelines • Assist with clinical-trial support when required
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Life Sciences, or related field required • Advanced degrees or clinical credentials (RN, PA, NP, RT, or other clinical credentials) preferred • Deep understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures • Working knowledge of typical hospital policies • Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work in high-pressure environments such as the OR/Cath lab • Adaptability to evolving technologies and complex procedures • Team-oriented with a commercial mindset • Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically • Must live or be relocatable close to a major airport in the North Central region, such as Nashville, Indianapolis, or Pittsburgh • May be required to provide current proof of vaccination against certain diseases, including COVID-19 • Must satisfy applicable U.S. export-control requirements if the role is subject to them
