• Install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Intuitive products in the assigned territory • Perform scheduled maintenance, including system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, recalls, field actions, and upgrades • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Intuitive products and associated equipment within the territory • Coordinate and perform system and hardware delivery and installation • Complete administrative duties including spare parts inventory, Field Activity Reports, Return Material Authorizations, and expense reports • Maintain issued tooling, calibrated tool sets, employee vehicle, laptops, iPads, and other company assets • Support Intuitive teams, including Sales trade show support, customer phone support, and providing hospital contacts • Provide feedback to headquarters and participate in continuous improvement projects • Complete required equipment training, Intuitive Surgical University classes, and professional development courses • Maintain territory activities, customer needs, system install-base configurations, customer contacts, customer relationships, training, and events • Support service contract renewals
• University or college degree in science or technical engineering, or equivalent • 2–4 years of equivalent work experience as an alternative to the degree • Strong written and oral communication skills in Italian and English • Good interpersonal skills • Strong administrative and record-keeping skills • Knowledge of operating room protocol preferred • Track record of solid customer relationships with surgeons and hospital staff preferred • Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems • Ability to travel up to 50%, dependent upon account distribution and region
