📋 Description
• The Invictus Education Group is looking for an Instructional Designer to be based remotely. • The purpose of this role is to design and develop high-quality, engaging learning experiences for our IHS and SAE distance and contact provision. • The goal is to facilitate students in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and engaging manner, using a variety of digital authoring tools and methodologies.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, educational technology or similar • Two years of proven working experience in instructional design for a variety of subjects and focus areas • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional and learning design models such as ADDIE, Backward Design, Blooms Taxonomy and Gagné’s Nine Events of Instruction • Skills in creating a well-executed learning journey inclusive of curriculum and assessment development • Experience with learning tools such as Articulate 360, Basic HTML and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) for Learner Management Systems, Canva and AI tools • Solid knowledge of course/programme development software and at least one Learning Management System • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, and video scripts for a variety of e-learning applications • Teaching or classroom facilitation experience is an added advantage.
