📋 Description

• Build the next generation of AI-powered capabilities within a mature software platform • Develop scalable product features across a Ruby on Rails backend and modern React applications • Design and ship production-ready LLM-powered features • Lead adoption of AI-powered workflows and modern AI development practices • Debug and work within a large Rails application or monolithic architecture • Integrate third-party APIs and external services • Evaluate AI systems and measure model quality through testing or evaluation frameworks • Collaborate through code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile development practices • Potentially design AI agents, RAG architectures, evaluation pipelines, and LLM observability systems • Potentially mentor engineers and promote AI best practices across development teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing applications with Ruby on Rails • Experience working in large, production-grade Rails applications or monolithic architectures • Hands-on experience designing and shipping LLM-powered features in production • Experience building retrieval-based systems, AI workflows, or structured LLM integrations • Experience evaluating AI systems and measuring model quality through testing or evaluation frameworks • Strong understanding of Ruby, JavaScript, and modern software engineering best practices • Working knowledge of React to develop, test, and troubleshoot frontend features • Experience integrating with third-party APIs and external services • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and architectural decision-making skills • Experience collaborating through code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile development practices • Strong English communication skills — minimum B2 level proficiency • Availability to overlap at least 75% of the Eastern Time business day • CV and application must be submitted in English • Must be based in Latin America
