📋 Description

• Support engineering as our customer with the infrastructure they need • Own and deliver significant infrastructure projects end to end, from proposal and planning through rollout and documentation • Bring fresh ideas and challenge the status quo constructively • Operate and improve Linux-based infrastructure across Hetzner VMs, Proxmox hypervisors, and bare-metal machines using Puppet and Ansible • Participate in a weekly business-hours on-call rotation, handle engineer requests, respond to monitoring alerts, and run upgrades • Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability • Share knowledge through documentation, runbooks, and pairing • Make infrastructure more reliable, improve engineering speed, automate repetitive work, and increase resiliency

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills in production environments • Configuration management tool experience - SaltStack, Chef, Ansible, Puppet • Solid scripting in Bash and Python for automation • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools • Experience with on-call or operational responsibility, and a calm, structured approach to incidents • Clear communication in English (spoken and written) • EU citizenship or other eligibility to work in the EU • Service-minded attitude towards the engineers you support • Track record of owning improvements proactively • Bonus: Experience with Hetzner or other dedicated/bare-metal hosting • Bonus: Ansible • Bonus: Proxmox or other KVM-based virtualisation • Bonus: GitLab CI/CD pipelines and runners
