📋 Description

• Monitor the availability, performance, and capacity of network assets, links, and services • Analyze alarms, events, dashboards, and metrics in monitoring systems • Perform incident triage and initial investigation, identifying probable causes, impacts, and priorities • Perform connectivity, infrastructure, and service diagnostics • Configure and maintain hosts, templates, items, triggers, macros, discovery rules, actions, and maps in Zabbix • Create, adjust, and enhance dashboards, panels, and alerts in monitoring systems • Assess and address collection failures via SNMP, ICMP, agents, APIs, and other integration methods • Review triggers and monitoring parameters to reduce false positives and improve alarm accuracy • Log, update, and track tickets, ensuring SLA compliance • Engage customers, carriers, vendors, and technical teams in accordance with escalation procedures • Support less experienced analysts during incident analysis and procedure execution • Identify recurring events, trends, and opportunities for improvement in monitored environments • Document procedures, solutions, and configuration standards, as well as perform comprehensive shift handovers

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in monitoring, infrastructure, technical support, or NOC operations • Hands-on experience with Zabbix and Grafana • Hands-on experience with Zabbix in production environments • Intermediate knowledge of hosts, templates, items, triggers, macros, discovery, actions, and maps • Experience using Grafana to analyze, create, and maintain dashboards • Knowledge of SNMP, ICMP, agents, Syslog, and APIs • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, IP addressing, DNS, VLANs, routing, latency, packet loss, and availability • Ability to interpret metrics, charts, alerts, trends, and capacity indicators • Familiarity with ping, traceroute, MTR, and SSH/Telnet • Basic Linux knowledge and the ability to perform basic server analysis • Experience with incident management, technical escalation, and SLA compliance • Strong communication and organizational skills, sound prioritization, and availability to work shifts • Experience in the NOC of internet service providers, carriers, or telecommunications companies is a plus • Knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, servers, links, OLTs, and BRAS/BNGs is a plus • Experience with distributed Zabbix, proxies, and collection troubleshooting is a plus • Knowledge of databases or queries for developing metrics is a plus • Experience with alert and notification integrations is a plus • Basic Bash or Python knowledge is a plus • Familiarity with virtualization, containers, ITIL, problem management, and root cause analysis is a plus • Courses or certifications in Zabbix, Grafana, networking, Linux, or infrastructure are a plus
