📋 Description
• Orienting students to their courses and communicating course and school requirements • Support homeroom students with general school information, schedule set-up, monitor student attendance and progress throughout the program • Provide small group and direct instruction to students of course content • Participate in instructional coaching and develop instruction to address coaching goals • Augment course content in the form of remediation, modification, and enrichment • Implement student’s IEP’s and attend IEP conferences as needed • Set deadlines for student work and grant extensions as deemed appropriate • Face to Face meetings with students and teaching adult as scheduled • Grade student work and enter grades into an online grade book in a timely manner • Ensure all communication with families is documented according to school policies • Meet with designated administrator to discuss student data and set goals and actions for remediation • Follow all school policies • Participate in State Testing and Proctoring • Hold Parent Teacher Conferences/ Check In Calls with homeroom families quarterly
🎯 Requirements
• Reside in the state of California • Bachelor's degree • Valid/current Preliminary/Clear/Life California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art • California English Learner Authorization- Issued by CTC • Strong content and subject-matter knowledge • Ability to support and guide adults, as well as students • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Organization and time-management skills • Excellent writing and grammar skills • Flexible schedule • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook, PowerPoint and experience using them in a professional capacity.
