📋 Description

• Own Workers’ Compensation business intelligence: work with data engineering to integrate and model WC data in Snowflake; build certified datasets, governed semantic models, and Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights for Workers’ Compensation. • Support WC program reporting across policy lifecycle, operational throughput (UW queues and productivity), and portfolio outcomes (frequency/severity, loss ratios). Align metric definitions with business glossary and work with business stakeholders to ensure accuracy. • Drive advanced analytics: apply data mining techniques to policy, claims, and exposure data to support predictive modeling and trend analysis. • Enable self-service analytics by coaching stakeholders and managing workspace standards. • Collaborate with senior management to align BI solutions with strategic objectives and influence data strategy decisions. • Champion data governance and metric consistency, ensuring clear definitions and compliance with enterprise standards. • Mentor and develop junior BI analysts, fostering best practices in data modeling, visualization, and governance.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years of progressively responsible BI and data analysis experience; operates highly independently at the senior level. • P&C Insurance domain experience required; Workers’ Compensation preferred • Expert-level skills in SQL, Power BI, and advanced analytics tools • Advanced programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages • Excellent stakeholder collaboration with Product/Underwriting/PMO; able to translate business needs into trusted BI assets • Proven track record of delivering high-impact business insights • Leadership and mentoring experience • Advanced degree preferred (Master's in Data Science, Statistics, or related field)
