📋 Description

• Design and build highly scalable, resilient, and secure microservices • Design and build RESTful and GraphQL APIs • Integrate business databases, third-party services, and legacy platforms with advanced AI engines • Optimize backend service latency and resource allocation for real-time AI model hosting and inference • Implement enterprise-grade authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and rate-limiting protocols • Establish and uphold coding standards • Write comprehensive integration tests • Conduct code reviews • Partner with AI engineers to deploy model weights and microservices within unified Docker environments • Integrate applications with cloud-hosted services and APIs • Help deliver AI, automation, AML, KYC, fraud-prevention, and advanced-analytics solutions for banking and insurance clients across Europe

🎯 Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in backend/platform engineering • Strong proficiency with Python and/or Node.js • Expertise in building scalable, resilient, and secure cloud applications • AWS required; Azure a plus • Experience designing/implementing authentication, RBAC, and security best practices • Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing • Prior engagement in large-scale enterprise environments and mission-critical systems • Excellent communication skills in English • Experience in fintech or financial services is nice to have • Full-time availability, 40 hours/week • Openness to an individual contractor or B2B work arrangement • Availability to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement
