📋 Description
• Responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial data, reporting, and compliance activities. • Own and maintain strict compliance with revenue recognition standards, including complex accounting for contracts and deferred revenue. • Oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance processes. • Develop, implement, and enforce internal accounting policies tailored to the recurring revenue model. • Supervise accounting staff (A/P, A/R, Payroll), fostering development and accountability. • Design and enforce a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA preferred. • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. • Deep understanding of GAAP/IFRS and subscription-based revenue recognition. • Strong proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills. • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience managing accounting teams and implementing internal controls.
