📋 Description

• Administer and maintain environments in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI): VMs, networking, Load Balancers, Storage, security and other resources • Manage Linux servers: configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting and resource optimization • Deploy, configure and maintain Java/Spring Boot applications and microservices • Analyze CPU, memory, disk, network and performance issues • Troubleshoot Java services, including log analysis, JVM, Garbage Collection, threads and resource usage • Administer and optimize SQL Server environments: queries, indexes, stored procedures, locks, concurrency and performance • Support system deployment, upgrades and configuration • Work with monitoring and observability tools • Identify infrastructure and application bottlenecks and propose solutions • Respond to critical incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement fixes • Automate operational tasks and administrative routines • Support the development team with infrastructure and performance-related issues • Document environments, configurations, procedures and solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including Compute, Networking, Load Balancer, Storage and Security • Strong experience with Linux, preferably Ubuntu • Knowledge of systemd, processes, services, networking, disks, memory and CPU • Experience with log analysis and troubleshooting • Familiarity with Java applications, especially Spring Boot • Production troubleshooting experience: JVM, heap, Garbage Collection and threads • Knowledge of SQL Server, including query and stored procedure analysis and optimization • Knowledge of indexes, execution plans, locks, deadlocks and concurrency • Ability to identify bottlenecks in production • Shell scripting is a plus • Microservices architecture is a plus • Docker is a plus • Kubernetes/OKE is a plus • Kafka is a plus • CI/CD and Jenkins are a plus • Monitoring/observability is a plus • Cloud security is a plus • High availability is a plus • Java application profiling is a plus
