• H&S Lead within region, support local H&S Representatives & forums and raise H&S profile internally • Drive the implementation of H&S policy, framework, objectives and outcomes within the region • Support Health & Safety Management systems to ensure safe and efficient workplace operations • Undertake targeted H&S audits as part of a defined audit programme and incident investigations • Support audit compliance and statutory inspections • Provide coaching and guidance locally including promotion of safety culture on the ground • Support H&S incident investigation processes and provide incident support and direction to Area Managers/Directors/Clinics • Minimise accidents and incidents through evaluation of incident data and risk management • Ensure appropriate risk assessments, procedures and training are implemented to maintain legal compliance • Liaise with safety representatives and regional teams and co-ordinate outcomes into central H&S functions
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent • Proven experience in a multi-site, customer-facing or clinical environment • Solid understanding of UK H&S legislation and its practical application • Skilled in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety audits • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with clinical teams and operational leaders • Full driving licence and ability to travel extensively across the region
