📋 Description
• Serve as Scrum Master and Delivery Lead across engineering teams by organizing and facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos • Convert technical notes and product input into complete, technically correct engineering requirements, tickets, and stories • Register scoped work across tracking systems so engineering teams receive clear assignments • Balance rapid AI prototyping with structured enterprise pipeline stabilization cycles • Manage cross-team dependencies and coordinate with Product, Cloud Ops, DevOps, and external contractors • Secure accounts, access, and information needed to keep teams unblocked • Translate architectural guardrails, including network isolation, database connection limits, and cost containment, into engineering workflows • Partner with System Architects on safe use of AWS services and data read replicas while preserving security boundaries, tenant isolation, and regional compliance • Facilitate technical review sessions to determine storage strategies aligned with developer needs and enterprise infrastructure standards • Oversee evaluation frameworks for multi-step agent workflows to ensure deterministic behavior and eliminate unhandled hallucinations • Guide a Senior AI Systems team and a Junior Development team as the technical bridge between AI Engineering and Software and Architecture functions
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering and Technical Leadership • 3+ years leading engineering or technical teams • Proven experience running agile methodologies, including Scrum/Kanban, across multi-tiered or split engineering teams • Working familiarity with LLMs and enterprise-scale systems • Experience partnering with System Architects and cross-functional groups, including product, cloud and infrastructure operations, and external contractors • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience negotiating architectural and infrastructure decisions for engineering teams • Hands-on implementation experience with Vercel AI SDK, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex (nice to have) • Familiarity with agentic orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph and AWS Step Functions, or equivalent, at an architectural governance level (nice to have) • Working knowledge of Amazon Bedrock APIs, Guardrails, and Knowledge Base configurations (nice to have) • Understanding of vector retrieval strategies including pgvector and Amazon OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, and in-memory data stores including Amazon MemoryDB, Redis OSS, or Valkey (nice to have) • Experience designing for idempotency and stateful rollback in distributed AI pipelines (nice to have)
