• Solid understanding of how construction jobsites work, who really holds influence, who makes the call, and how to build the right relationships • Proven outside sales success, especially when it comes to finding and winning new business • Someone who is energized by being in the field, covering territory, visiting jobsites, and creating opportunities from scratch • Strong sales instincts, good relationship-building skills, and the confidence to ask for the business • Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to stay on track without being closely managed • Strong communicator who follows up, stays in front of people, and doesn’t let opportunities go cold • Organized, persistent, and competitive in a healthy way, with a real drive to win • Someone with a strong work ethic who understands that consistent daily activity is what builds a solid book of business • A person customers trust — straightforward, honest, and committed to doing business the right way
