📋 Description

• Find bugs, defects, and regressions • Design, implement, execute, and debug test cases and/or automated test scripts • Validate and document completion of testing and development • Verify fixes and help ensure successful releases • Identify opportunities for improving processes, training and tools • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents • Develop testing plans and scenarios in accordance with the technical specifications • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities • Identify, record, document, and track bugs • Perform regular regression, exploratory and system testing • Monitor and maintain bug backlogs for accuracy • Leverage AI-enabled tools and analytics to enhance decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years professional experience • Must have strong diagnostic skills to properly test software and measure the quality of the product • Must have a technical background to be able to create proper testing scenarios from the functional requirements and detail specifications • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and writing SQL queries • Experience with QA testing on ERP type applications/systems • A thorough understanding of administrative software for higher education and experience with automated testing tools are a plus • Proficiency with at least one programming or scripting language a plus
