📋 Description

• Serve as the primary on-site technical resource for commissioning and startup, ensuring systems meet design specifications. • Lead troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and control systems, identifying root causes and implementing solutions. • Coordinate on-site with contractors, plant personnel, and internal stakeholders to drive progress and maintain schedules. • Perform system diagnostics on rotating equipment, VFDs, and control components to ensure reliable performance. • Conduct inspections, assessments, and preventative maintenance, identifying and addressing potential issues early. • Provide hands-on training to operators and maintenance teams on proper system operation and upkeep. • Generate clear field service reports documenting conditions, root causes, actions taken, and recommendations. • Act as a liaison between field operations and engineering, communicating findings and supporting improvements. • Lead post-installation support, including warranty service, follow-ups, and system optimization. • Maintain professional communication with customers, providing guidance and reinforcing JMS’s role as a trusted partner.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or equipment installation/startup • Strong mechanical aptitude (rotating equipment, mechanical assemblies, etc.) • Basic troubleshooting of control panels (motors, VFDs, basic control panels) • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams. • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently in the field • Valid driver’s license • Strong communication and customer interaction skills.
