📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineers, product management, and operations to build, test, and release products • Validate front-end, back-end, and endpoint functionality across product components • Define testing best practices and serve as the domain expert in Jitterbit product testing • Establish and maintain test environments and assets across supported configurations and endpoints • Review requirements and designs with Product Management and Development teams • Provide feedback that identifies bugs and surfaces potential improvements • Design and execute comprehensive end-to-end test strategies across frontend and backend systems • Translate product requirements into risk-based test coverage • Build, configure, and maintain stable, production-like test environments • Write high-quality bug reports and define actionable quality metrics and dashboards • Contribute to Scrum/Agile teams by influencing acceptance criteria, improving testability, and embedding quality throughout the SDLC • Test SaaS/iPaaS and cloud-based systems across Windows and Linux environments, including containerized and orchestrated deployments • Validate REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML payloads, databases, CRM/ERP systems, and external-service integrations • Test Elasticsearch and Kafka systems, including indexing/search accuracy, event-driven workflows, and message-queue reliability under load • Use observability and testing tools to diagnose issues, validate system health, and support efficient test execution • Partner proactively with engineering and product teams during design and development to shape testable, reliable features • Work effectively with distributed teams across time zones • Support cross-time-zone collaboration and critical releases with flexible hours when needed

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering • Demonstrated progression in ownership, complexity, and impact across multiple releases and product cycles • Deep experience designing and executing comprehensive frontend and backend test strategies • Experience translating product requirements into risk-based test coverage • Ability to build, configure, and maintain stable, production-like test environments • Skilled at writing high-quality bug reports and defining actionable quality metrics and dashboards • Hands-on experience in Scrum/Agile teams • Experience influencing acceptance criteria, improving testability, and embedding quality throughout the SDLC • Experience testing SaaS/iPaaS and cloud-based systems across Windows and Linux • Experience with containerized and orchestrated deployments, including Docker and Kubernetes • Strong understanding of distributed system architectures, service dependencies, scalability, and fault tolerance • Strong experience validating REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML payloads • Experience testing integrations with databases, CRM/ERP systems, and external services • Experience testing Elasticsearch and Kafka systems • Experience validating data indexing/search accuracy, event-driven workflows, and message-queue reliability under load • Familiarity with Postman, SoapUI, Datadog, or similar APM/monitoring platforms • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Self-directed, structured approach and passion for process improvement • Experience working effectively with distributed teams across time zones • Willingness to flex hours for cross-time-zone collaboration and critical releases • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve test generation, code quality, analysis, or productivity • Experience with test automation using TypeScript or Python is a strong plus
