• Direct and supervise electrical crews, contractors, and technicians for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, and low-voltage systems installation • Review and interpret electrical drawings, panel schedules, specifications, and engineering plans • Conduct on-site inspections of panel installations, conduit routing, cable pulling, and equipment connections • Ensure electrical work meets NEC, local electrical codes, fire codes, and municipal regulations • Coordinate permits, inspections, and approvals with electrical inspectors, AHJs, and utility companies • Prepare progress reports, inspection logs, test results, and stakeholder updates • Implement electrical safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, arc flash safety, and OSHA electrical standards compliance • Oversee electrical testing, including continuity, insulation resistance, ground fault, protective relay testing, and system startup • Coordinate electrical subcontractors to ensure workmanship quality, schedule adherence, and trade coordination • Troubleshoot electrical issues, resolve design conflicts, and implement field solutions • Maintain records of inspections, testing results, warranties, submittals, and as-built drawings • Coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection trades
• Minimum 5+ years electrical supervision experience in commercial, industrial (Manufacturing/Clean Lab), or institutional projects • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, motor controls, lighting systems, and low-voltage applications • Thorough understanding of NEC, local electrical codes, and inspection requirements • Proven ability to prepare comprehensive inspection reports and technical documentation • Extensive field inspection experience including electrical testing and quality assurance • Demonstrated ability to supervise electrical teams and coordinate with multiple contractors • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent technical education (preferred) • Associate Engineer License (at minimum) (preferred) • Professional licenses (PE, contractor's license) bonus • Arc flash training and safety certifications • Experience with BIM coordination and electrical design software • Commissioning experience preferred
