📋 Description

• Complete 6–12 months of training to develop the skills required for the Clinical Account Specialist role • Provide professional clinical support to electrophysiologists and electrophysiology laboratory teams for BWI catheters and diagnostic and therapeutic systems • Support advanced cardiac ablation procedures • Provide education and training on BWI’s CARTO 3D electroanatomical mapping system and accessory equipment • Integrate with the electrophysiology field and laboratory teams • Provide specialized clinical products, technical assistance, and training during procedures • Educate customers on BWI products, technical and clinical information, in-service training, and best practices • Use consultative selling techniques to identify sales opportunities and facilitate contact between the Territory Sales Manager and decision-makers • Stay up to date on instructions for use, best practices, troubleshooting, clinical literature, and new products • Prioritize and respond to requests in a high-stress environment while maintaining composure and a problem-solving focus • Participate in diagnostic discussions with internal and external partners and stakeholders • Respond daily to email and voicemail requests • Perform administrative tasks, including account documentation, compliance training requirements, expense reports, and entries in the company system • Maintain safe fleet standards • Comply with health, safety, and environmental guidelines and all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures • Perform other duties as assigned, as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedicine, Nursing, or a related field • Experience as a clinical support specialist in the medical device industry, ideally in cardiology, is preferred • Previous experience in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, nursing, or as an electrophysiology technician is beneficial • Develop clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation and cardiac imaging • Technical knowledge of EP technology, advances, and the business landscape • Stay connected to healthcare industry information, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends • Willingness to travel locally and internationally • Ability to sit for extended periods in a hospital laboratory while supporting live patient cases and using protective equipment such as lead aprons • Willingness to work variable hours to meet patient needs • Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for daily business use • Proficiency in spoken and written English required • Valid Class B driver’s license • Experience with highly complex technical systems and/or in a critical patient-care environment is preferred • Experience introducing new technologies to the market and working with key opinion leaders is preferred • Spanish is preferred but not required
