📋 Description

• Develop and implement commercial CAR-T apheresis and cryopreservation activities supporting the regional Center of Excellence • Facilitate and conduct qualification and training for hospitals throughout the EMEA region • Oversee technology transfers of cryopreservation processes to local hospitals and central cell processing facilities • Act as primary point of contact and maintain relationships with commercial apheresis and/or cryopreservation service suppliers • Execute site qualification and onboarding activities • Develop working knowledge of information technology, logistics, and medical processes • Execute issue, risk, and change management • Maintain metrics to monitor site performance • Build and shape infrastructure and capabilities supporting regional commercial activities • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures • Coordinate and maintain a virtual supplier network for apheresis and cryopreservation starting materials • Lead technical relationships with cell therapy teams and commercial CAR-T teams • Facilitate cell collection site certification activities and provide training • Manage near-real-time quality investigations related to apheresis and cryopreservation • Collaborate with hospitals as suppliers, conduct technical analyses, and identify performance improvement opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Master's or bachelor's degree focused in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, or an equivalent scientific or engineering field is preferred • Advanced degree or experience in a relevant discipline, such as apheresis, is preferred • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a pharma, hospital, or blood bank environment is required • In-depth knowledge of cGMP and the EU Tissue and Cell Directives is required • Full proficiency in European Regulations and Directives; knowledge of JACIE standards and CAR-T supply chain quality standards is ideal • Direct cell therapy laboratory experience or clinical apheresis experience is preferred • Ability to work effectively in multinational teams and a multicultural environment • Project management skills and ability to interface cross-functionally with clinical personnel is required • Experience working independently and in a matrixed team environment is required • Demonstrated agility and ability to make decisions independently • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations, prioritize tasks according to objectives, and provide problem resolution is required • Fluency in English is required • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking at least one of Italian, French, or German is preferred • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
