📋 Description

• Support development of professional relationships with clinical and scientific thought leaders • Support investigator-initiated studies, including KOL interactions, proposal submissions, research contracts, enrollment monitoring, and milestone progression • Provide clinical and scientific information for Shockwave Medical products and therapeutic areas in response to unsolicited requests • Attend scientific meetings and conferences as OMA subject matter expert and scientific information contact • Support communication and education of internal and external stakeholders on scientific evidence • Provide therapeutic expertise and scientific support to Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing, Professional Education, Market Access, and HEOR • Collaborate with HEOR to develop summaries of key data and health-economic insights • Review clinical reports, abstracts, manuscripts, health-economic models/dossiers, and related materials • Support global OMA functions with scientific expertise in carotids, TAVI, PAD, CAD, and coronary physiology • Support internal training and advisory boards • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, codes, company policies, and best-practice standards • Report to the Associate Director Medical Affairs - International

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field of study • Advance degree preferred (Master, PhD, MD, PharmD, etc.) • 6+ years of related experience in Medical Affairs in the medical device industry • Proficient in English (verbal and written) and at least one additional major European language, preferably French and/or German • Medical device industry experience in cardiovascular medicine with special expertise in carotids, TAVI, PAD, CAD and/or coronary physiology highly preferred • Experience supporting HEOR projects, health economics analyses and dossiers • Experience in promotional materials review • Ability to understand, summarize, and convey scientific data clearly and concisely • Ability to develop and maintain key opinion leader relationships • Ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams • Effective written, verbal and presentation skills across various audiences • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) • High attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking skills • Good prioritization and organizational skills • Entrepreneurial “hands-on” experience; proactive “can do” attitude • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time depending on business need
