• Conduct basic legal research and compile findings to support attorneys during case preparation • Prepare trial and hearing materials, including exhibits, notebooks, summaries, and supporting documentation • Track and monitor case progress to ensure deadlines are met and urgent matters are escalated appropriately • Manage attorney calendars by scheduling court appearances, client meetings, and critical legal deadlines • Maintain strict confidentiality of client and firm information while adhering to legal and ethical standards • Coordinate document signing and notarization processes for clients and witnesses • Communicate professionally with clients to collect documentation, provide status updates, and address case-related inquiries without providing legal advice • Organize and maintain digital and physical case files according to established firm procedures • Perform electronic filing with courts and administrative agencies while ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence • Support attorneys, clients, and external parties throughout the legal process
