• Follow established firm procedures, training materials, and the firm's internal playbook • Schedule hearings for motions • Draft professional letters and legal correspondence • Track important deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks • Handle sensitive client and case information with confidentiality and discretion • Support trauma-informed legal assistance for clients navigating sensitive circumstances • Follow security protocols and prevent information security risks • Help fine tune and expand the firm's training playbook • Communicate task status, priorities, availability, and challenges • Identify potential issues and resolve them independently when appropriate • Maintain responsiveness and availability during scheduled working hours • Obtain records and follow up on outstanding records requests • Monitor Connecticut judicial websites • Draft and file motions and other legal documents • Remind and hold the attorney accountable for deadlines, appointments, and commitments • Maintain organized case information and documentation • Assist with light billing and administrative responsibilities • Support day-to-day case management and administrative needs • Maintain and manage calendars
