📋 Description

• Monitor and execute payment transactions with accuracy and attention to detail. • Take responsibility of the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB. • Take ownership of the accounting processes of Jobleads and help bring them in-house. • Work closely with external tax advisors on tax-related matters, including VAT compliance. • Evaluate existing accounting processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. • Ensure high-quality accounting standards and timely delivery of financial reporting. • Support multi-entity accounting activities and be responsible for the consolidation of all three entities. • Book accounting transactions independently while providing oversight and guidance when required. • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business in both German and English. • Help establish scalable processes and controls that support future growth. • During your first three months, assess the current accounting landscape, identify key challenges and opportunities, and develop a clear roadmap for successfully insourcing accounting operations. • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure alignment and a smooth transition. • Within your first six months, lead the successful insourcing of accounting activities for the German entity and assume ownership of day-to-day accounting operations. • Implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and scalability as the business continues to grow.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in accounting or financial accounting. • Strong knowledge of HGB and German tax regulations. • Fluency in German and English. • Experience working with multiple entities and/or consolidation processes. • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. • A structured, reliable, and independent approach to work. • Strong communication skills with an analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
