📋 Description

• Contribute to research and teaching within the research area of Cultural, Knowledge and Gender History • Independently hold classes in Bachelor's, Teacher Training and Master's degree programmes in History • Contribute to editing or publication of academic works and other activities of the Chair • Contribute to events within the Chair’s remit • Assist with university administrative matters and the organisation of teaching • Pursue further academic qualification through dissertation, publications and conference participation • Assist in communicating research findings to the general public

🎯 Requirements

• Completed diploma or master's programme in History or Cultural Studies • Substantial, demonstrable knowledge of contemporary gender history or history of knowledge • Dissertation proposal in contemporary cultural, knowledge or gender history • Preferably thematic focus on history of human rights, migration or social movements • Use of transnational and/or entangled history approaches • Ability to help communicate research findings to the general public • Very good command of German and English • IT skills • Teamwork skills • Organisational skills • Application materials must include a letter of intent, PhD project description of up to 5 pages, academic CV/list of publications, evidence of teaching experience if applicable, and official confirmation of completed Master's/Diploma degree
