📋 Description

• Build backend services and event-driven integrations as part of a team, paired with a senior engineer • Implement and maintain event schemas and data models across services • Review AI-generated and peer code for correctness, maintainability, and data accuracy • Work with product and engineering peers to clarify requirements before and during implementation • Participate in design discussions, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution • Switch between languages and codebases as priorities shift • Contribute to internal tools and integrations supporting Viper's provisioning, installation, and monitoring

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience building production backend services • 3+ years of professional backend development experience in Go • Hands-on experience with .NET or Node.js • Frontend experience with Vue or another JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, or TypeScript-based stacks • Production experience with AWS Lambda, S3, EKS, and CloudFront • Professional experience with Kafka or equivalent event streaming platforms, including topic design and consumer scaling • Hands-on experience building and consuming GraphQL APIs with Apollo or Hasura • Strong relational data modeling experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL • Experience with NoSQL databases • Experience implementing observability and monitoring with Datadog or equivalent APM tooling • Experience building and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines • Practical use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code • Strong professional English and cross-functional communication skills
