📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate integrations across Salesforce, CPQ, contract management, NetSuite, and the cloud data warehouse using Workato recipes, custom connectors, and APIs • Replace point-to-point and manual handoffs with reusable, documented integration patterns • Build pipelines that push operational data to the warehouse • Implement event-driven triggers such as webhooks, platform events, and change data capture for billing and provisioning • Design for idempotency, retries, ordering, and reconciliation • Build and maintain MCP servers exposing governed read and write operations to internal AI agents • Define tool contracts, permission scopes, guardrails, and action logging • Evaluate and adopt Workato AI and MCP capabilities where appropriate • Apply least-privilege access, secrets management, and service-account hygiene • Build monitoring, alerting, and runbooks; own incident response • Meet SOX, SOC 1, and SOC 2 change-management and audit requirements • Share design ownership and on-call coverage across the team • Independently own production Workato integrations and deliver event-driven billing automation • Integrate CPQ with Salesforce, NetSuite, and the warehouse; deliver an MCP server for internal use • Expand MCP coverage across the revenue chain and reduce manual handoffs

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software or integration engineering experience, including at least 3 years building enterprise SaaS integrations • Production experience with Workato, or another iPaaS such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Tray.io and willingness to go deep on Workato • Deep experience integrating Salesforce and NetSuite through APIs, including REST, SuiteTalk, SuiteScript, Platform Events, and Bulk API • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java • Solid grasp of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, and event-driven architecture • Experience building or consuming MCP servers, or building tool and function-calling integrations for LLM agents • Security-first approach: least privilege, secrets management, audit logging, and protection of financial and customer data • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing for integration code • Comfort working with US-based stakeholders, with a few hours of overlap with US time zones • Preferred: integration experience with quote-to-cash or financial systems; SQL and cloud data warehouses; Workato certifications; daily use of AI coding tools; experience in a SOX-controlled environment
