📋 Description

• Build and ship production systems as a core engineer • Work on advanced systems involving NLP, firmographic data, entity resolution, and related technologies • Solve problems involving large and performant data pipelines, distributed systems, machine learning models, and robust infrastructure • Collaborate with full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers • Build scalable and reliable backend solutions • Drive projects to completion and contribute to the company’s technology and business impact

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems • Experience with a modern frontend framework, preferably React • Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript • Comfortable in Python, or strong candidates from other object-oriented backgrounds • Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem solving • Comfortable with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL • Experience with cloud environments, serverless technologies (Lambda, EC2), and asynchronous workflows • Ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion with limited oversight • Proactive communication, including surfacing blockers, asking questions, and keeping stakeholders informed • Commitment to iterative improvement and quality • Curiosity about AI, data, and real-world machine learning applications • Ability to move fast, learn quickly, and maintain high standards • Appreciation for direct feedback, meritocracy, and transparency
