Kaufland e-commerce is the technology arm and employer brand powering Kaufland’s international online marketplaces. It builds and operates the Kaufland online marketplaces and Kaufland Global Marketplace (KGM) — a B2B all‑in‑one seller solution — and develops related digital products (for example the Kaufland app and Kaufland Card). As an independent tech company collaborating with Kaufland retail, KEC focuses on marketplace platform, product and engineering teams and employs 800+ people across multiple German locations and remote to serve millions of customers and thousands of merchants across Europe.

📋 Description

• Build new partnerships with European e-commerce partners for the Kaufland Marketplaces • Own the entire partner onboarding process • Evaluate partner solutions based on the concrete problems they solve for sellers, including onboarding, logistics, pricing, content, and repricing • Use and present partner solutions as growth enablers • Ensure partner solutions are actively integrated and used throughout the seller journey • Create documentation and conduct initial marketing activities on partner sites • Track seller adoption of partner solutions and derive optimizations based on seller impact, activation, GMV, and churn reduction • Gather seller feedback and translate it into partner requirements and product ideas for other teams • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, Marketing, and Tech Development to turn ideas into features with high adoption rates • Represent the marketplace at e-commerce events and grow a network of multipliers

🎯 Requirements

• Successfully completed a business apprenticeship or hold a university degree, e.g. Information Systems or Business Administration • 2–3 years of experience in partner management, business development, or product management within e-commerce • Understanding of APIs and technical integration concepts sufficient to translate between partners and engineering • Deep technical/coding skills are not required • Strategic thinking and ability to prioritize and build a partner/product roadmap • Proactive attitude and hands-on mentality • Fluent English at C1 level • Good German skills at B2 level or additional European language skills are a plus • Experience with Jira, Tableau, and BigQuery is a plus • Enjoy working in an international environment
