📋 Description

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Python • Design, develop, and enhance REST APIs • Implement business rules and system integration services • Develop asynchronous integrations using Apache Kafka • Create and maintain message producers and consumers • Integrate applications with MinIO for storing, querying, and retrieving files and objects • Develop integrations with relational databases • Implement error and exception-handling mechanisms • Create unit and integration tests • Analyze and resolve application issues • Work with logs, monitoring, and operational traceability • Participate in code reviews and the definition of technical solutions • Prepare and maintain technical documentation • Collaborate with architects, systems analysts, and other technical teams

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in software development • Strong experience with Python for backend development • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs • Knowledge of Python backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django • Knowledge of Apache Kafka • Experience or knowledge in developing Kafka producers and consumers • Knowledge of MinIO or S3-compatible object storage • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases • Experience with system integration • Knowledge of Git, preferably Bitbucket • Knowledge of Linux • Experience with automated testing • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban • Experience with FastAPI (a plus) • Experience with event-driven architectures (a plus) • Knowledge of Kafka topics and partitions, consumer groups, offsets, retries and failure handling, and idempotency • Experience with Amazon S3-compatible APIs (a plus) • Knowledge of Docker (a plus) • Knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift (a plus) • Knowledge of CI/CD (a plus) • Knowledge of API authentication and authorization (a plus) • Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, or OpenID Connect (a plus) • Experience with observability, metrics, and tracing (a plus) • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or OCI (a plus) • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field • Analytical and investigative mindset • Problem-solving skills • Autonomy and a strong sense of responsibility • Strong communication skills with technical and business teams • Organization and ability to prioritize tasks • Proactivity • Collaboration and teamwork • Commitment to code quality and maintainability
