• Responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing highly complex capital equipment at customer sites. • Represents the company to the customer and is accountable for customer satisfaction with service. • Ensures operational quality of system equipment. • Coordinates actions with customers to minimize downtime. • May assist Installation Engineers in resolving issues. • Regular domestic and international travel is required.
• Certified engineer or degree from an advanced technical school, or approximately 3 years of relevant work experience. • Ability to understand and resolve issues across software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or electro-optical systems to address on-site customer problems. • Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong customer relations and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment. • Fluent in English; German language skills are required. • Full driver’s license. • Willingness and availability to travel up to 25%.
