• Perform full-cycle accounting and financial reporting. • Ensure compliance with DRC tax, accounting, and mining legislation. • Manage external audits and relationships with authorities. • Support field exploration and FP&A teams. • Build and scale accounting operations. • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and strong ethics.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent certification • 7+ years experience in accounting, with mining industry experience preferred • Experience working with multiple currencies • Strong knowledge of SYSCOHADA, IFRS & US GAAP • Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to quickly learn new tools as needed and solve new problems continuously • A high degree of independence and the ability to work effectively with limited supervision • Flexibility to accommodate meetings with staff/vendors overseas • Experience interfacing with DRC regulatory bodies including DGI, CPCC, ARSP • Interest in learning about mineral exploration and being a close partner to the exploration project teams
