📋 Description

• Support the business throughout the project life cycle to assure compliance with internal and external EHS-related rules and regulations • Support the PM or Site Manager in planning, implementing, monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement • Identify EHS-related statutory requirements, rules, regulations, and EHS aspects depending on the project location country • Perform risk assessments and define mitigation measures • Develop the EHS plan • Support the PM and Site Manager in obtaining required EHS permits, authorizations, and certificates and notifying authorities • Implement a training concept fulfilling EHS-related training requirements • Review contractors’ safe work method statements and risk assessments • Conduct regular site inspections, identify risks, and define corrective measures • Provide regular EHS reports to the project and/or site manager and Occupational Safety Manager • Ensure incidents are investigated and recorded and that appropriate measures are defined, implemented, and monitored • Provide EHS requirements to the project procurement manager for contractor selection • Evaluate contractors’ EHS performance and provide feedback to the project procurement manager

🎯 Requirements

• Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) technical competencies, including Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification, Safety Management Systems, Emergency Preparedness and Response, Personal Protective Equipment, Training and Communication, and Accident Investigation and Reporting • Familiarity with relevant OSH and environmental laws, regulations, and standards applicable to the industry or sector • Knowledge of EU directives and national legislation • Work experience in global projects and/or interdisciplinary teams is mandatory • Minimum 3 years of site-related experience from industrial and/or construction business or similar • Excellent command of the English language is a must • Strong intercultural skills and adaptability • Readiness to travel frequently, 60-80% of the time, during project deployment phases • Methodical approach, communication skills, stakeholder management, teamwork, initiative, commitment and endurance
