📋 Description

• The Project Estimator will work with account managers and the design team to create cost estimates, validate design parameters and help to manage the proposal creation process. • Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. • Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. • Design and develop solutions by working with CAD Designers and Sales Team. • Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. • Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. • Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. • Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred. • Minimum 5-7 experience designing or estimating MHE technologies and storage solutions • Experience working with cross-functional teams on large projects • Detail oriented with superb time management • Strong communication skills – clear and concise interpersonal verbal and written • Computer literacy – AutoCad, Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project • Must be able to thrive and succeed in an innovative environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity • Able to perform high level data analysis, detailed cost tracking and reporting • Experience with one or more of the following major conveyor manufacturers • Intelligrated, Dematic, Automotion, Hytrol, TGW
