📋 Description

• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile experiences using React Native and TypeScript across multiple Kraken products • Own initiatives end to end, from clarifying requirements and aligning stakeholders through implementation, release, and post-launch iteration • Build support-related functionality including in-product messaging, chat experiences, content, banners, modals, and voice-call capabilities • Adapt solutions to each product’s performance, design, reliability, and maintainability needs • Collaborate with Product, Design, mobile, web, and backend teams • Resolve ambiguity and drive initiatives forward • Write clean, well-tested code • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and mobile release processes • Contribute to real-time experiences using APIs and WebSockets • Help improve shared architecture, components, and development practices across web and mobile contributions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience • Hands-on experience building and shipping mobile applications with React Native • Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript • Experience using React and modern frontend development practices • Ability to own projects or mobile releases from initial requirements through production delivery • Experience working with APIs, frontend testing, mobile performance, and modern build and deployment pipelines • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English • Sound technical judgment and attention to detail • Experience with native iOS or Android development using Swift or Kotlin is nice to have • Familiarity with Node.js or backend systems is nice to have • Experience with WebSockets, live messaging, or asynchronous architectures is nice to have • Familiarity with customer-support platforms or customer-experience tooling and APIs is nice to have • Experience owning iOS and Android build, deployment, and release processes is nice to have • Working knowledge of Rust, Go, or C++ is nice to have • Experience across multiple products or teams in a large technology organization is nice to have • Previous experience in crypto, fintech, consumer finance, or another highly regulated product environment is nice to have
