📋 Description

• Provide accurate, consecutive English-Spanish interpretation primarily in medical settings • Facilitate crucial communication in social services and financial contexts • Initially provide Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) • Progress into Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) based on performance • Join a 100% remote team serving Latin America • Potentially transition into the company’s core staff

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in remote medical interpretation • Minimum C1 English fluency • Valid English certification from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE accepted • Proof of medical interpreter knowledge issued within the last 12 months • Accepted medical interpretation certifications: ALTA Spanish fluency with a minimum score of 9, or LanguageStat (PICSI) with a passing score of 75–80% • Complete mastery of medical and customer service terminology • Must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications • Willingness to successfully complete a standard background check via email • Mandatory hardwired Ethernet connection directly to the router; Wi-Fi is prohibited • High-quality, noise-canceling USB headset • Minimum Windows 10 OS and 4GB RAM • Latest version of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge • Dedicated, quiet, and fully HIPAA-compliant working environment • Native language and English level information required in the application
