📋 Description
• Provide accurate, consecutive interpretation primarily in medical settings • Facilitate crucial communication in social services and financial contexts • Join a skilled, highly motivated 100% remote team in Latin America • Initially focused on OPI, with a clear pathway to advance into VRI.
🎯 Requirements
• 6 months to 1 year minimum of professional experience in remote medical interpretation • English Proficiency: Minimum C1 fluency. We accept valid certifications from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE. • Medical Interpretation Certification: You must provide proof of medical interpreter knowledge issued within the last 12 months. Accepted certifications include: ALTA Spanish fluency: Minimum score of 9 required. LanguageStat (PICSI): Passing score of 75–80% required. • Complete mastery of medical and customer service terminology. • Compliance: Must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications. • Willingness to successfully complete a standard background check via email. • Internet Connection: A hardwired Ethernet connection directly to your router is mandatory (Wi-Fi is strictly prohibited). • Hardware: A high-quality, noise-canceling USB headset. • Computer Specs: Minimum of Windows 10 OS and 4GB RAM. • Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge. • Workspace: A dedicated, quiet, and fully HIPAA-compliant working environment.
