📋 Description

• Own the health, modernization, automation, and continuous improvement of critical infrastructure platforms • Analyze problems and technical issues, offer solutions, and test, modify, automate, and integrate systems • Shape the future of platforms and services under responsibility • Evaluate technical challenges and determine the best path forward • Analyze business, operational, and technical requirements • Identify technical, operational, and timeline risks early in project lifecycles • Design, test, integrate, and automate solutions across multiple platforms • Support application onboarding, migrations, upgrades, and platform transformations • Contribute to platform integrations using APIs, automation frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code principles • Define platform roadmaps and modernization strategies • Drive continuous improvement to enhance reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency • Manage platform lifecycle activities including upgrades, migrations, vendor support, and decommissioning • Improve automation capabilities and reduce operational complexity • Support compliance, audit, vulnerability remediation, and security initiatives • Work with leadership and partnering teams to align technology investments with business objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Background in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, network engineering with automation experience, DevOps engineering, site reliability engineering, or enterprise monitoring and observability • Experience with Windows Administration • Experience with Linux Administration • Experience with Ansible / AWX • Experience with ServiceNow integrations • Experience with GitHub / GitLab • Experience with REST APIs • Experience with Infrastructure as Code • Experience supporting vulnerability management, security remediation, penetration testing, audit readiness, and compliance requirements • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for network provisioning • In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud hosting architecture • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems • Experience consuming and developing REST API integrations • Experience working across teams • Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems • Effective verbal and written communication • Strong process improvement experience • Experience developing production-grade Python automation solutions preferred • Experience with Cisco ISE, Catalyst Center, CMX, or Prime preferred • Hands-on experience in software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain preferred • Working knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and network management platforms preferred • Experience integrating enterprise platforms through REST APIs preferred • Experience with cloud-hosted application architectures preferred • Experience managing vendor-supported applications and appliances preferred • Experience with application lifecycle management, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning preferred • Experience supporting platform modernization initiatives preferred
