📋 Description

• Lead migration of the legacy ColdFusion e-commerce platform to an Angular storefront with a .NET 8+ backend • Drive re-platforming from on-premises infrastructure to Azure, including target architecture, landing zone, IaC, CI/CD, and cutover plan • Triage production performance and reliability issues using telemetry and track prioritized fixes through resolution • Design and deliver the greenfield Order Management System and follow-up projects onboarding franchise and corporate stores • Write production code on critical paths including authentication, checkout, and OMS core • Lead spikes and unblock the team • Lead the client’s ColdFusion engineers and coordinate cross-company technical direction • Define and enforce engineering standards for branching, code review, testing, observability, and security/PCI-DSS posture • Manage technical risk and sequencing across live production maintenance, migration, and greenfield OMS delivery • Run technical discovery and refinement sessions with the client • Present architectural options and trade-offs to engineering and business stakeholders • Use AI coding agents to prototype concepts, validate integration approaches, and improve team delivery velocity • Mentor .NET and Angular engineers and improve AI-augmented development practices

🎯 Requirements

• Lead or strong Senior-level expertise in .NET full-stack development (.NET 8+, C#) and Angular (current LTS versions) • Prior experience leading a comparable legacy-to-modern platform migration or cloud re-platforming initiative, ideally including moving off a legacy CMS/monolith stack • Hands-on experience with e-commerce or CMS platforms, including SEO and Google-related integrations and Angular SSR/prerendering and SEO preservation during SPA migrations • Practical Agentic / AI-augmented engineering experience using Claude Code, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent for code generation, refactoring, code review, and rapid prototyping • Familiarity with spec-driven or PRD-driven AI workflows, such as BMAD-METHOD or Spec-Kit • Demonstrated architectural ownership, including evolving system architecture, making build-vs-remove-legacy decisions, and justifying trade-offs • Experience architecting background/asynchronous job processing, such as Hangfire or equivalent, across multiple deployment environments • Strong code-review and mentoring skills with a track record of raising engineering standards across a team • Experience diagnosing and resolving production performance issues using APM/telemetry tooling, such as Application Insights or equivalent • Familiarity with third-party integration architecture, including payment gateways, tax services, and fraud/marketing platforms • Ability to independently elicit and clarify requirements from a client and explain technical solutions to engineering and business stakeholders • Strong ownership and proactivity • English sufficient for direct day-to-day communication with US stakeholders • At least 4 hours of daily overlap with New York time
