📋 Description

• Design and grow the E2E and integration test suite using Cypress • Set automation strategy, prioritize coverage gaps, and improve platform-wide test coverage • Own the bug lifecycle from triage through production fix • Keep stakeholders informed and ensure issues are resolved • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and the Data team to review requirements and raise risks early • Define quality criteria and what “done” means • Identify weaknesses in software delivery and implement process improvements • Perform exploratory testing of web and mobile features across devices • Explore AI tools and new testing approaches to improve quality operations • Report to the Engineering Manager and work across the engineering organization

🎯 Requirements

• AI-native: use AI tools such as Claude Code to write, maintain, and extend test code • Comfortable with browser MCPs, agent workflows, and scripts for QA automation • Automation-first mindset; able to build durable test infrastructure • Customer-focused approach to testing real user experiences • Adaptable to evolving tools, stacks, processes, and AI-assisted development • Collaborative and direct across Product, Design, Engineering, and Operations • Comfortable reading and writing code • Understanding of frontend and backend web services • Ability to write meaningful SQL queries • Ability to debug issues across the stack • Willingness to build automation rather than focus primarily on manual testing • Comfortable shaping priorities and processes amid ambiguity • Ability to work with multiple testing frameworks and parts of the stack
