📋 Description

• Serve as the engineering anchor of a product initiative • Shape problems and decide the technical approach • Own architecture, data model, integrations, rollout plans, observability, and rollback strategies • Direct AI agents to implement code and ensure production-ready quality • Establish prompts, guardrails, evals, tests, and review loops • Ship initiatives from problem framing through production and post-launch review • Partner daily with the PM on scope and tradeoffs and with the designer on UX decisions and prototyping • Collaborate with engineering peers and meet weekly with the Engineering Manager • Own initiative metrics and present results 2–4 weeks after launch • Ensure production correctness, security, performance, observability, and customer/pro experience • Ship 3–4 initiatives in the first year and help at least two move their metrics • Create reusable runbooks, evals, agent workflows, and post-launch write-ups

🎯 Requirements

• AI-native: Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent used daily on production work • Real opinions and experience with prompts, evals, agent loops, and review workflows • Experience building a workflow where agents write code while you steer, review, and verify • Operating at a lead level: making decisions, shipping difficult work, and owning outcomes • Outcome-driven and experienced reading post-launch dashboards and measuring metrics • Strong partnership with product managers, designers, and engineering peers • Ability to make and document architecture, data-model, and rollout decisions • Experience creating reusable artifacts such as agent workflows, evals, runbooks, and post-launch reviews • Customer- and pro-minded approach • Deep skill in at least one listed technology stack • Credible production experience with AI coding agents • Experience with one or more of: Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, MCP servers, evals tooling, PHP/Laravel, TypeScript, React, React Native, Redshift, dbt, Segment, Airflow, AWS, Datadog, Sentry, GitHub Actions, Brain, Confluence, Jira
