The company operates an e-commerce subscription model with online onboarding, credit-card billing (monthly without committing card limit or annual with possible installments), upgrade and trade-in options (annual upgrades, buyout after 30 months for a nominal fee), and circular logistics for device refurbishment and delivery. Leapfone packages devices with accessories and provides fast shipping and customer support.

📋 Description

• Lead the technology area both technically and operationally. • Guide the engineering team, evolving the systems' architecture. • Ensure the quality, predictability, and efficiency of deliveries. • Combine strategic leadership with strong hands-on involvement in day-to-day technical work, integrating development, people management, and process improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience, including at least 4 years leading technical teams (Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or equivalent). • Strong proficiency in C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core) in production environments. • Hands-on experience with Node.js for services and APIs. • Design and versioning of APIs in REST, GraphQL, and gRPC — selecting the right approach for each use case. • Real experience with distributed systems: messaging/events (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), eventual consistency, idempotency, resilience patterns (retries, circuit breaker, timeouts), and observability (logs, metrics, tracing). • Relational and NoSQL databases, with understanding of data modeling and performance. • Containers (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines. • Ability to make and justify architectural decisions based on scalability, cost, and sustainability. • Delivery coordination: planning, backlog prioritization, and follow-up. • Quality culture: code review, testing, and engineering standards. • Mentorship and technical development of the team. • Operational management: incident handling, SLAs, and monitoring OKRs/KPIs. • Clear communication with executive leadership and business areas. • Autonomy and maturity to make decisions without constant validation.
