📋 Description

• Lead a team of 4–6 engineers building Ledgy’s agent and developer platform • Set technical direction and create an environment where engineers can do their best work • Own and improve CI/CD build and deployment pipelines for human and AI-agent workflows • Manage GCP infrastructure, Terraform configuration, monitoring, and alerting • Set SLOs and improve production visibility, including AI-agent activity • Partner with the CISO to define and execute Ledgy’s security strategy • Address supply chain security, access controls, AI-agent risks, and regulated-fintech security requirements • Build AI infrastructure and agent-platform foundations, including MCP interfaces, agent identity and access models, audit logging, dry-run environments, and sandboxes • Develop platform strategy with the Head of Engineering and CTO • Improve pipeline reliability, deployment velocity, developer experience, and infrastructure reliability • Conduct 1:1s, support engineer growth, lead career development conversations, and conduct performance reviews • Lead engineering initiatives influencing how the organisation ships software • Partner with product and engineering leadership on technical direction

🎯 Requirements

• Strong vision for modern platform engineering with AI agents writing, testing, and deploying code • Deep experience in CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure • Experience with observability, deployment automation, developer experience, and infrastructure-as-code • Security-minded approach to platform engineering, including AI-agent access to production systems and sensitive financial data • Experience developing engineers and supporting their growth • Comfortable remaining hands-on with Terraform, pipeline debugging, and shipping improvements • Active use of AI tools to multiply output • 3+ years of experience in Engineering Management • 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer • Meaningful experience in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps roles • Ability to participate in a live coding interview using a preferred language and IDE • Ability to discuss an architecture significantly contributed to, including CI/CD, infrastructure, and scaling aspects
