📋 Description

• Prepare annual statutory financial statements for our German entities. • Lead and support two General Ledger Accountants. • Oversee our outsourced accounting provider, resolving technical issues and improving ways of working. • Coordinate the annual external audit, ensuring documentation is prepared and delivered on time. • Review income statements, approve journal entries and oversee month-end accounting activities. • Be the escalation point for Procure-to-Pay accounting queries. • Coordinate the preparation of German corporate income tax returns with external advisers. • Support tax audits, including corporate tax, VAT and property tax. • Manage relationships with German tax authorities and external advisers. • Oversee withholding tax compliance and filings. • Support the preparation of current and deferred IFRS tax provisions. • Complete monthly tax reconciliations. • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of transfer pricing arrangements. • Monitor changes in German tax legislation and help maintain compliance. • Review payment proposals and support cash repatriation activities. • Act as the finance lead for the banking migration project, including user acceptance testing.

🎯 Requirements

• An accounting or tax qualification. • Experience of German GAAP. • General Ledger and tax accounting experience. • Experience working within an international business. • Fluency in both German and English.
